Hypnosis for children
In hypnotherapy, children are encouraged to talk about their feelings and what they want to change in a safe environment.
Hypnosis is not something that is done to a child, it is something the child does, for and by himself, or allows to happen when he has a goal to achieve.
The therapist helps with stories (metaphors) related to the child’s question, and allows the child to use their imagination to solve their own problem.
For children, hypnosis may help improve:
– hyperactivity
– self-confidence
– lack of focus
– phobia of school
– learning difficulties (reading, writing, etc.)
– anxiety
– sleep problems
Once the child is able to sit, listen and participate in reading stories, then he/she is able to benefit from hypnosis.
